2011 Video: WIA-KIA 5k Run and Family Walk
We had an awesome event!!!
Over 1,000 people attended the 3rd annual WIA-KIA 5k Run and Family Walk held in Medford, NJ at Freedom Park. This continued the legacy of 1st Lt Joseph D. Helton, KIA 9-8-09 in Baghdad by an IED.
A special thanks to Joseph’s mother Jiffy Helton who came from Georgia, and two soldiers who were with Joe in Iraq, for joining us to help celebrate his life and the life of all our fallen heroes. Thank you to our celebrity guests, sponsors, Black Hawk crew, runners, and walkers for making this a successful event.
We will see you next year!
Show your support!
